Temporary retail buildings are used in the trade and retail industry. Supermarkets, hardware stores, furniture stores and other retailers sometimes temporarily need extra space in addition to their permanent commercial spaces, for example for seasonal sales or during renovation work. Additional retail space may also be required for long-term projects with no time limit.
The retail buildings need to meet specific requirements, in terms of temperature, for example. For buildings accessed by customers, temperatures of 16 to 18°C are required. The building’s interior furnishings, fixtures and fittings should be both functional and decorative. Wooden floors, glass doors, windows, special lighting systems and other fixtures are recommended in the construction of retail buildings.
Herchenbach temporary buildings are suitable for this purpose. The buildings’ design is flexible in terms of size, fixtures and fittings. They are cost-effective and, because they can be dismantled, are also suitable for temporary use.
We create self-supporting widths of 5 to 40 m for your retail building. Anything wider is implemented in a multi-aisle design. Our buildings use a modular construction system. Assembly is quick and easy, which keeps costs low. The retail building can also be subsequently extended.
A retail building may be required on a temporary or permanent basis. Our buildings are certified as permanent structures in accordance with DIN EN 1991 and are therefore suitable for permanent use. However, we also offer a rental option for short-term use. For seasonal sales or for additional retail space during renovation work on an existing building, rental is a cost-efficient alternative to buying. The components can be fully dismantled at the end of the rental period. If still required beyond the rental period, the retail building can also be purchased.
Our Therm+ buildings are fitted with ISO panels, making them perfect for buildings that need to be heated. The insulation reduces the amount of energy needed to heat the building and also offers a certain amount of noise protection.
The sturdy industrial tarpaulin roofing is translucent. It therefore lets in plenty of daylight to ensure the retail building is bright. Our standard range of fixtures and fittings also includes lighting systems that ensure sufficient light, as well as a selection of gates, doors, windows and flooring. Decorative wooden flooring is used in retail buildings just as often as oriented strand board (OSB) flooring and can withstand high point loads from shelves.
In addition to our buildings, customers also receive a comprehensive service package. We are always available with expert consultation services and are your point of contact for issues such as planning permission or fire protection. We guarantee short lead and response times.
