Modular Temporary Warehouse

The basic structure for the temporary supermarket is a modular aluminum building system. Different hall sizes can be quickly and easily implemented using this system. Because the individual components for the temporary hall are industrially prefabricated, delivery and assembly are faster than with a custom-designed steel building.

A 1000 m² lightweight hall can be assembled in about a week. For Frostkauf, various elements from the modular system were precisely combined. The goals: Customers have their usual shopping experience. Frozen goods can be stored safely. And the doors and gates are combined to ensure smooth operations.

Partition wall between storage and sales

The result is a hall with various areas. A partition wall separates the sales area from the storage area behind it.

 

  • Insulated panels with excellent thermal transmittance values ​​were used for the exterior of the building.
  • The partition wall inside the building is made of robust trapezoidal sheet metal.
  • The tarpaulin door provides a wide opening between the storage area and the sales floor.


This cost-effective solution was made possible because different wall elements with the same profiles can be easily combined in the Herchenbach modular system.

Docking stations for containers

Behind the sales area, docking stations for large refrigerated containers have been built. Frozen goods are stored there before being brought into the sales area. The containers themselves are located outside the building. The precisely fitted connection to the storage area enables optimized workflows. This was made possible because the necessary openings could be individually cut into the finished building walls.

Easy dismantling after two years
