Interim storage for the beverage industry

Production is underway. Warehouse is full. Anyone who pre-produces seasonally knows the pressure: The production window is narrow, the finished goods need immediate storage space, and the existing warehouse simply isn't sufficient. Two modular warehouses, erected on schedule, solve exactly that problem.

A beverage manufacturer in Lower Saxony produces its summer products as early as March and April. The reason: the well is only available for a limited time. The finished product needs immediate storage space; the production window allows no delays. Both halls had to be erected and filled before Easter. Herchenbach delivered two Safe+ halls, each with 1,500 m² of floor space, precisely when needed.

Behind every project is a story.

Customer requirement
  • Quickly available, low-profile storage space for large quantities of solid goods
  • Seasonal peaks can be handled flexibly and with weather protection
  • Well access is only available seasonally; time slots are fixed.

Solution
  • Two Safe+ halls, each with 1,500 m² of column-free space for unobstructed traffic routes
  • On-time assembly of both halls within the tight timeframe
  • Flexibly expandable to accommodate seasonal peaks requiring more capacity
Use
  • Beverage industry: Finished goods stored safely and on time
  • Season start went smoothly without delays or bottlenecks
  • Production planning proceeded as usual.
Two halls. One goal.

Both halls shortly after assembly. Located directly next to each other on the existing company premises, seamlessly integrated into the existing infrastructure. The Safe+ construction method blends compactly into the terrain while still creating maximum usable space.

Clear path for the finished goods.

A cantilevered area without internal supports. The entire floor plan is available for storage. Forklifts can maneuver freely, full goods are stored efficiently and picked quickly when needed.

Installation on existing substrate

No complex floor construction is necessary. The hall was assembled directly on the existing curb. This saves time, reduces preparation effort, and makes the solution available even faster.
