The international economy is always subject to fluctuations. Rapidly rising or falling demand affects the economy just as much as political agreements or crises. Supply chains often become unbalanced and many companies struggle with the effects. Suppliers and distributors, for example, are then faced with full warehouses because they cannot deliver their products. It is also conceivable that they cannot continue working because they are missing parts that they could not stockpile due to lack of storage space. Inventory management and the ability to react quickly play an important role here.
When it comes to flexibility and short-term availability, quick-assembly and prefabricated buildings offer the optimal storage solution. The buildings can be adapted in terms of size and features for their intended purpose.
Prefabricated and quick-assembly buildings are built using a modular design method. The basis is a stable aluminium frame, which is fitted with wall cladding and a roof tarpaulin after assembly. The roof tarpaulin made of highly tear-resistant, translucent industrial PVC and allows sufficient daylight into the interior of the building. The wall cladding can consist of trapezoidal sheets or ISO panels, depending on the intended use. Prefabricated and quick-assembly buildings are suitable for permanent use in accordance with DIN EN 1991. They are quickly dismantled if the need is only temporary, e.g. for one or two years, but if required, they can also be used for up to 50 years.
The modular buildings can be erected on almost any surface. This saves companies the costly task of laying a foundation. It also saves time. In classic steel or solid construction, a foundation is required, which means that the buildings take significantly longer to erect. The costs for prefabricated and quick-assembly buildings are correspondingly lower. In addition, it is possible to extend a prefabricated building at a later date, should the internal processes or a different storage strategy require this.
We construct buildings with clear widths of up to 40 m. The length can be selected as required in increments of 4 m or 5 m. See our website for more information about our building sizes. In addition, we fit the buildings with various accessories such as doors, gates, windows and loading ramps. For special fire protection requirements, we also offer hard roofing or SHEV systems. The prefabricated buildings can therefore be perfectly adapted to the respective application.
Benefits at a glance
Quick-assembly buildings from Herchenbach are extremely versatile. Our focus industries include companies from the automotive industry, the packaging industry, the food industry and the logistics sector. We know the problems our customers face and work with them in a solution-oriented manner. Prefabricated and quick-assembly buildings can be used as storage buildings for finished and semi-finished products, for example. Fast-running roller shutter doors and loading ramps, which we install in the longitudinal or side walls, make loading and unloading within the buildings easy.
Our buildings can also be used as production halls. We also offer an insulated roof tarpaulin in addition to our ISO panels, so that the building can be heated efficiently when moderately strenuous physical activities are carried out in it.
If the goods stored in the building only need to be protected from the elements, installing a canopy is sometimes sufficient. Our Cover+ canopy is the perfect solution for bulk goods that need to be protected from rain, snow or hail.
