The system supplier in the field of sheet metal and machining technology has invested in a new lightweight construction hall from Herchenbach. With this investment, Lungmetall aims to respond even better to customer demand. The modular hall was erected on the factory premises within a short timeframe. The building is now being used as a new distribution warehouse.

• The prefabricated hall is made of aluminum profiles. It is significantly lighter than similarly sized steel halls while offering high stability. This reduces CO2 emissions during transport. In many cases, no foundation is required. The hall is anchored using ground anchors.
• Lungmetall has booked the pre-assembly inspection as part of Herchenbach's full-service package. This inspection assesses whether the ground is suitable for the simple and cost-effective ground anchoring method.
• The components of the prefabricated halls are industrially prefabricated. This means short delivery times. The modular system allows the individual parts to be combined to create different hall sizes and types. TÜV-certified structural analyses are already available for many hall geometries. This results in time and cost savings compared to obtaining individual structural analyses.

1. Short construction time with the quick-assembly hall: Discover the Herchenbach modular building system. Three hall types in different sizes can be erected quickly and easily in all wind and snow load zones of Germany.
2. Time and cost savings with foundation-free construction: Lightweight halls (unlike steel halls) do not require a foundation. In many cases, a secure and cost-effective ground anchor system is sufficient. Herchenbach offers a pre-assembly survey to determine the suitability of the ground for ground anchoring. Caution is advised if pipes and cables are present in the ground. In many cases, an existing gravel or asphalt surface is sufficient for ground anchoring. Compared to construction with a foundation, this reduces construction time by approximately four weeks. Construction costs decrease by €100,000 for a 1,000 m² hall. Ground anchoring is not possible on bare topsoil.
3. Six months without building permit: For six months, Herchenbach halls, classified as "temporary structures" according to DIN 13782, do not require a building permit. During this period, Herchenbach supports customers in obtaining the necessary permits, drawing on its expertise from thousands of hall construction projects. Once a building permit is obtained, Herchenbach halls are approved as permanent structures according to DIN 1991. The industrial tents are certified for a service life of 50 years.
4. Affordable temporary warehouse rental options: If a company has a short-term storage need, this affordable rental option is ideal. This financing is also a good option if the company isn't yet sure how long it will need the building. With this financing, no upfront investment is required; the warehouse is paid for only as long as it's needed. If storage requirements change, the lease is simply extended.
5. Sustainable and recyclable: Herchenbach's modular buildings are not welded, but bolted together, unlike steel buildings. When the building is no longer needed, the individual components can be reused in a new construction project. Because Herchenbach uses a single high-strength aluminum alloy, offcuts (for example, from leveling slopes) can be recycled. When built without a foundation, the building can be completely removed at the end of its service life.
