Herchenbach built a 1,000 m² cold storage facility for BMW Mini Charrier. Alain Charrier has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. He opened his BMW Mini dealership in Cholet, Maine-et-Loire, in 2009. There, as well as online, he sells BMW and Mini vehicles, along with other brands. Due to high demand, Alain Charrier purchased a meadow behind his dealership in 2018 to park some of his cars. However, having been repeatedly affected by hailstorms, he decided to protect his vehicles from the elements and secure them in a building. "Thanks to our rapid response time and excellent collaboration with the client, we were able to deliver the optimal solution quickly," explains Alexis Martin, Head of Inside Sales at Herchenbach, who closely oversaw the construction of the project.

  • Lightweight halls are cost-effective: Originally, a permanent building was planned for the meadow. Online research revealed that a lightweight hall, offering weather and theft protection for vehicles, is significantly cheaper than a permanent building – while maintaining high stability. Since a foundation is often unnecessary, an aluminum hall with a floor area of ​​1000m² is approximately €100,000 cheaper than a steel hall.
  • Lightweight halls are quick to assemble: Herchenbach's aluminum halls offer customers great flexibility in hall design thanks to their modular system. The industrial tent can then be erected in a very short time. Approximately 1000m² of lightweight hall can be assembled in about a week.
  • As a full-service provider, Herchenbach offers optimized processes: Immediately after the initial contact, customers have a dedicated personal contact who oversees the hall planning process from start to finish, right through to contract signing. This contact person works closely with the customer to plan the hall and provides support with all financing and building regulations. Services such as pre-assembly soil testing can be easily added to the full-service package, offering peace of mind. Herchenbach also provides customers with a personal contact throughout the construction phase and from the moment the keys are handed over.

Our client wanted a fast and reliable warehouse expansion that would blend aesthetically into their site. Initially, a conventional steel structure was considered. The vehicle hall saves time and money

Herchenbach proved to be the ideal solution provider for BMW Mini Charrier's requirements for the vehicle hall. To ensure easy access, a roller door was chosen. This allowed the hall to be precisely tailored to the operational needs of the business. A special inner liner provides additional protection for the vehicles stored inside, preventing condensation.

Since the vehicles are now protected within the hall, they are no longer at risk of hail damage. Furthermore, the cars don't get dirty as easily, eliminating the need for pre-service cleaning.
