Lightweight Warehouse: Accessories

Equipment for logistics & storage warehouses

Herchenbach offers modular warehouse and logistics buildings. These lightweight structures are quick to plan and assemble. With the right accessories, they can be individually adapted to the requirements of different industries. Equipment options range from the simple Cover+ roof to the Safe+ cold storage building and the Therm+ insulated building. Each building type can be combined with various accessories. Herchenbach combines the advantages of a modular building with the diverse possibilities of a custom-designed structure – all with added performance.

Wall cladding with and without insulation

Lightweight buildings are constructed from aluminum profiles. Depending on the requirements, different wall claddings can be used. Both options are characterized by short assembly times.

Trapezoidal sheet metal
Cold storage buildings with wall cladding made of robust trapezoidal sheet metal are suitable for storing temperature-insensitive
Iso panels
The heated hall offers good insulation properties. This reduces energy consumption when the hall needs to be heated.

Roof Tarpaulins

The roofing of the lightweight temporary structures consists of highly tear-resistant, durable industrial PVC. It is offered in four versions and protects stored goods from weather conditions such as rain, hail, and UVA and UVB rays.

Heba roof
The Heba roof tarpaulin offers affordable weather protection. An inner liner can also be installed to protect against condensation
"Hard roofing"
The Heba-Dach+ roofing system is equipped with an additional fiberglass fleece and is resistant to heat and sparks.
Insulated roofing
An additional fleece layer in the Hebatherm+ roofing system provides better insulation for rooms that are to be heated.

Insulation and fire protection
With insulating fleece for thermal insulation & fiberglass fleece for better fire protection, this roofing combines all equipment

Anchoring: Ground stakes or dowels

Do you already have an asphalt parking lot or gravel surface where the building is to be built? If so, in many cases the ground is suitable for anchoring a lightweight hall. Anchoring with ground anchors does not require a foundation.

Anchor Pegs
In many cases, lightweight buildings can be anchored without a foundation using ground anchors. This saves time and money.
Heavy duty dowels
If anchoring with ground anchors is not possible for building code reasons, heavy-duty anchors are a sensible alternative.

Doors

Depending on the type of building and the required operational processes, the use of different industrial doors makes sense. While the simpler version protects against weather and theft, roller and sectional doors can be well combined with an insulated building.

Sliding gate
Sliding gates are made from the same sheet metal as cold storage buildings and offer affordable weather and theft protection
Roller gate
Roller doors can be mounted on gable and side walls. They are offered with electric operation as standard for smooth operation.
Sectional door
High-quality in design and insulation, sectional doors (optionally with viewing sectors) perfectly complement insulated halls.

Doors

For safety reasons, every warehouse or logistics hall needs doors in addition to the gates, so that the unit can be easily evacuated in an emergency. Herchenbach offers two door models: emergency exit and panic door.

Emergency door
Single-leaf doors are available as emergency and panic doors for lightweight halls with and without public access.

Photovoltaic modules

With photovoltaic modules on your own warehouse roof, you can reduce energy costs through self-generated electricity. We install our specially developed lightweight modules in the same way as the highly tear-resistant roof tarpaulin.

HEBA ENERGY PV-Module
The patented PV modules can be used in the modular system for almost all Herchenbach hall roofs.

Fire protection

The smoke and heat extraction system and the "hard roof" are approved for use in lightweight halls under building regulations. Furthermore, various options are available for the emergency exit doors.

RWA
The smoke and heat exhaust system is integrated into the roof membrane.
"Hard roofing"
The "hard roofing" is resistant to heat and sparks and is approved for construction on existing buildings.

Windows and light panels

The translucent roof already allows plenty of daylight into the hall. For those who want to utilize even more of this light and simultaneously create sightlines to the outside, skylights and windows are a sensible option.

Light panels
Light panels are integrated into the wall cladding and provide natural light and views to the outside.
Window
Tilt and turn windows allow for individual ventilation of different sections of a hall. They are available in single and doubles.

Lighting systems

The roof of the lightweight hall is translucent. Even on cloudy days, light levels inside the hall reach 500 lux. Additional lighting systems can be installed for morning and evening hours.

Interior lighting
The lights achieve a high luminous efficacy. The number of light sources is precisely calculated by a specialist.
Outdoor lighting
Outdoor lighting provides additional security. It can be equipped with a motion detector.

Canopy

The covered area can be easily expanded with two different canopies. This simplifies order picking in dry conditions. Employees are less exposed to the elements. At the same time, the goods are better protected.

Canopy
A canopy extends the dry area around the hall - for example in front of the entrance or at the loading ramp.
Canopy
Cover+ offers more flexibility, allowing roofs to be erected across the entire width of the hall and in any length.

Partition

Partition
Inside the hall, partition walls can be inserted into the profiles. This allows different parts of the building to be separated.
